A female staff member experienced in chaperone duties is available on request, please make your request for a chaperone, preferably at the time of online booking, using the free text area; otherwise by email to [email protected].  As a matter of policy we advise that all female patients should consider requesting a chaperone if any undressing is required. A chaperone is not normally offered for any examination not requiring the patient to undress, eg examination of eyes, ears, nose, throat. Male patients are not normally offered a chaperone when examined by a male doctor. Any specific wishes or preferences should be requested in advance to [email protected].
